Robert
J. Scheurer, founder and President of Automotive
Art Galleries,
LLC, is a graduate of Newark Industrial Technical
Institute for Architecture and Parsons School
of Design in New York City with a degree in
Interior Design. As an Interior Designer for
Lipton Tea Headquarters,
located in New Jersey, he was responsible for
redesigning the complete interior of all their
corporate offices, inclusive of executive row.
As a mapping technician with a major
utility for thirty years, he was project manager,
responsible for distribution analysis for gas & electric
systems, as well as for laying out their entire
mapping system for Western & Central Divisions,
using IBM Proscan software. Retired at 52 to
pursue other areas of interest, he has worked
as a sales consultant for Vintage Cars in Nyack,
New York
where cars of choice are Ferrari, Lamborghini,
Maserati, Rolls Royce, Bentley, Jaguar and Porsche,
and has owned Ferraris,
Aston Martins, Lotus,
Porsche and Corvettes.

As
an avid member of the Ferrari Owner's club, and
the Ferrari Club of North America, Mr. Scheurer
owns a very rare 1992 Ferrari 348TB Speciale, a
car that reflects the Ferrari’s GT racing
heritage and is number 19 out of 35 units manufactured.
He has attended the Grand Prix for many years as
well as other major races abroad, such as the Formula
1 events.
He
was awarded the Bronze Star & the Army Accomodation
Medals for meritorius achievement in a Vietnam
combat zone 1968 – 1969 and is a lifetime
member of the Vietnam Veterans Association. Working
for many years at Englewood Hospital & Medical
Center as a volunteer, has brought him immense
satisfaction, as has his lifetime interest in
the Fine Arts. He is an accomplished painter
and photographer and was the research coordinator
for the film entitled “Americas’ Stonehedge” for
the History Channel.
